The sales team is responsible for securing advertising contracts with high-profile companies to ensure The Daily Californian’s financial success.
As an Account Executive, you will build and maintain key relationships with our current and potential advertising clients. Our team’s goal is to identify new opportunities for revenue growth and to foster mutually beneficial partnerships with local and national businesses. Communication skills are a must as you work with our other business departments, such as Marketing, Distribution and Production, to seek opportunities to provide greater value to your clients.
Applicants should be motivated, persuasive and resilient. Strong candidates are able to learn quickly, listen carefully to craft tailored solutions for clients and have a history of leadership and/or mentorship. No previous experience with sales or technical tools is necessary.
